The Postmaster-General (Lord Stanley) has intimated his intention of abandoning the proposed tash-on-delivery system in connection with the parcels post in the Motherland, but will try to establish a system of helping the exchange of commodities between the Motherland and the colonies, in order to prevent the loss of spme of our trade through greater facilities of postage between the colonies and foreign countries.
