MOERAKI, FROM SYDNEY.
The Union Company's steamer Moeraki, from igydncy direct, arrived in the stream at 6.40 this morning, and waa berthed at Ho. 1, North, Queen'i Wharf at 10 o'clook. The vessel left Sydney «fc 2.30,0'0100k on Saturday afternoon, and cleared Port Jaokion Heads at 3.15 p.m. North-west to westerly winds and smooth seai were the rule until nearing the Wellington Heads, when a strong •outherly gale was encountered. Included in the cargo for Wellington are transhipments •x Oldenberg, Tigriau, and Ohemnity, and *729 oaiei fruit.
KARAMEA AT HOBART. Advice has been received by the local agents of the Shaw-Savill Company that the steamer Karamea, from London via Capetown, arrived at Hobart at 10 o'clook yesterday morning. The vessel is to resume her voyage this afternoon, nnd should reaoh Wellington on Monday morning.
