LEGISLATIVE CO UNCIL. Tho Speaker took tho chair at 2.30 p.m. Tho Imprest Supply Bill -was put through all its stages. Tho report of the Conference between tho two Houses on the Counties Act Amendment Bill was agreed to. The Attorney-General stated that all the Cinmcil's amendments \wie agreed to except that fixing tho time within which a "bylaw made by a i County Council might' bo disallowed. The original Bill made the period two yours, tho Council's amendment made it indefinite, and the amendment now accepted made it four yonrs. The Police. Offonces Act Amendment | Bill was read a third time and passed. (Left sitting.)
