The Mutual Help Society of the Forward Movement held its annual outing at the Upper Hutt yesterday. The party consisted of 120 women and children, and was in charge of the Rev. W. A. Evans and the Committee of the Society. The weather was of the best, and the consensus of opinion at the end of the day was that it was the best picnic of the ten which the Society has conducted. The Society has been absolutely self-supporting during the ten years of its existence. A private cable message received this morning states that Mdlle. Dolores will Tevisit Wellington in February next. She is at present enjoying great success in South Australia. Mr. C. Smith advertises Christmas novelties including ruffles, sunshades, and made-up laco goods. Ther6 will bo a suecia-l show on Friday night.
