CRICKET.
SUGGESTED NEW RULES. [BY TELEGRAPH — FBBSS ASSOCIATION.] LONDON, 10th December. The captains of the county clubs have agreed that it is desirable to increase, the width of wickets to nine inches. They have also adopted Maclaren's proposal, seconded by Jessop, that only three test matches be played against the Australians, a week being devoted to each. The propositions will be submitted, to the M.C.C. sub-committee, and then , to a full committee.
