THE AFRIKANDER BOND. ITS CONSTITUTION TO BE REVISED.
CAPETOWN, 15th November. At Mr. Hofmeyr's instance the Afrikander Bond leaders met to revise the constitution of the Bond on a non-racial basis for promoting the development of South Africa. A general meeting has been summoned to approve the decisions. Speaking in the Assembly a* the close of the session, the Premier (Sir Gordon Sprigg) announced that though the cruiser Good Hope, with Mr. Chamberlain on board, would first touch at Durban, a call would be made afterwards at Capetown.
