THE RECENT STORM. EXPLANATION OF THE FIREBALLS.
LONDON, 15th November. Sir Norman Lockyer, the eminent astronomer, says the fire-balls seen during the storms in Australia- were globular lightning effects, similar to what was witnessed during the eruption of Mont Pelee And La Souiriere.
