THE PASSENGER LISTS. (Received November 13, 10.53 a.m.)

SYDNEY, This Day. It is stated that a complete list of the Elingamite's passengers is not in existence in Sydney. The company explains the fact that the non-appearance of the names of some of the rescued in the passenger list is accountable by the fact tiiat passengers frequently go on board just before the vessels leave and secure their tickets on board, and others with return tickets fail to book at the company's office. The Elingamite had ten bags and two hampers of mails from Sydney, and ten bags from other States, all for Auckland and Gisborno. Intense thankfulness is felt at the rescue of so many of the passengers and crew, and there is a hopeful feeling that the other boat and raft may be found.

(Our Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, This Day. Dr. Beattie — who, so far as can be ascertained, was the only Durredin saloon passenger on tho Elingamite — before going Home to prosecute his studies, was, a prominent member of the Alhambra Football wlub. At a meeting of the various bands of Wellington last night it was decided that the combined bands should give a performance in aid of the sufferers by the wreck of the Elingamite in the Basin" Reserve on Sunday week. Arrangements for the performance haye been left in the "hands of Messrs. T. Herd, W. Jupp, H. -Baker, and G. Richardson.
