Colonel Swayne, who commanded the' British -forces in the recent fighting in Somaliland, East Africa, has arrived at Port Said. In an interview he stated that there was a .stretch of 110 miles of •waterless country between the British and the Mullah. The hostile tribes hovered jn. the dense bush.
