CONSPIRACY TO DEFRAUD.
SENTENCE OF SEVEN YEARS' IM. PRISONMENT. [press association.] BRISBANE, 12th November. James Henderson has been sentenced to eeven years' imprisonment on a charge of conspiracy to defraud the Railway Department of a large sum of money. Henderson was the chief witness in the late case, wherein one Campbell claimed £2000 damages for falling out of a train. Henderson disappeared subsequently (after Campbell had received seven years for perjury) bub was arrested in Victoria.
