Four rinks from Masterton visited the Petone green yesterday and played a friendly game with the local club, winning by 14 points. The scores were :: — ■ Masterton : Pragnell, Cockran, McEwan, jun. , McEwan, sen. (skip), 22 ; Petone: Carter, Stutter, M'Lean, JMaynaid (skip), 16. Masterton : Chamberlain, Dougall, Lnmbie, Richards (skip), 19; Petone: Barbour, Reynolds, Colquit, Marsden (&kip), 18. Masterton : Mutrie, Feist; * Fisher, Dupre (skip), 22; Petone: Reid, Alexander, Lowin, Fraser (skip), 13. Petone: Babington, Mothes, Home, Laurie (skip), 24 ; Masterton : Perry, Dignan, Rigg, Whittaker (skip), 22. Totals — Masterton, 85; IJetone, 71. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies, and a very pleasant day was spent.
