ST. MARY'S. CONVENT PUPILS.

The general excellence of the concerts of the pupils of St. Mltry's Convent in the past may well give rise to pleasurable anticipations as to the concert to be given by them in " the Sydney-street Schoolroom on Friday evening next, the programme of which is now published. It can be eten at a glance that none but capable musicians could hope to cope with music of the class chosen, and such singers as the Misses Connell, Long, and MacLoskey may well be considered in the front rank. The names of Misses Pulsford and RoWe are mentioned as singers of promise, the former in Beethoven's "Creations Hymn," and Pelissier's "Dreams of Rest," and the latter in Doniretti's "Silent the Sombre Wings iof Night," are givec ucope for the display of their talent.

There was another appreciative audience at the Gaiety Company's performance in the Theatre Royal* last night. To-night the Allisons make their last appearance, and Miss Belle Ray, a contralto, -will make her bow to a Wellingto audience. The "circle" business- will be superseded to-night, and the lima nt .which each item will begin is announced by advertisement. On Monday Atbas and Collins begin a farewell season of six nights. The biograph records taken of the Born? visit were exhibited in the hall of the Missions to Seamen last evening, and -were much appreciated by the mariners, ancient and modern, who assembled.
