Lord Stanley, Financial Secretary to the War Oilice, states that 450,000 smnll arms and 240,000,000 rounds of small arms ammunition have been issued in South Africa biuce tho ultimatum. GJ SHORN E, 11th April. Private advices from South Africa state that Private E. Richurdson, of Gisborne, now with the Canadian Scouts, is recovering from a bad attack of enteric fever.
