THE RECENT OPERATIONS IN CHINA.
+ . THANKS FOR COLONIAL AID. [PBES3 ASSOCIATION.] LONDON, 11th September. Lord George Hamilton, Secretary of State for India, and the Right Hon. J. Chamberlain, Secretary of State for the Colonies, have thanked the New South Wales and Victorian Governments for the generous and valuable services in despatching naval contingents to take part in the operations in China. It is added that the inspection of stores carried out under their control was so efficient that there was not a single complaint.
