The Railway Department has been advised that excellent progress is also being made with the building of the powerful ibcomoUves which it has ordered from the Baldwin Works, Philadelphia, for use in various parts of the colony. Twentytwo engines are under order, and the whole of them are to be brought to the colony in a steamer which is expected to arrive in January.
