*. THE JUBILEE SINGERS. M'Adoo's Jubilee , Singers will open ' their Wellington season at the Opera House this ovening. The special features of tTie entertainment are the solo singing of Gauze, the male mezzo-so-prano, Miss Dazalia Underwood, soprano, and Mr. li. S. Allan, baritone, added to the vTubilee choruses and plantation songs that wero popular items in the programmes during former visits of Jubilee singers. The Passion Play of Oberammergau will be represented by 3500 feet of moving pictures, and Edison's loud-speaking concert phonograph will display its capabilities.

Much attention was centred to-day upon the shop of the Trading Stamp Company in Willis-street. Owing to the passing of the Trading Stamps Act a large number of collectors of the company's stamps took their books to the shop this morning for the purpose of getting the articles they were entitled to. The attendants were kept going throughout the morning, during which time the shop was crowded with eager patrons. An interval had to be taken at midday in order to allow ihe attendants to get the place ready lor the afternoon's trade. When the shop opened again at 2 o'clock the waiting crowd overflowed on to the street, and a constable was kept busily employed in keeping a clear path. The shop was kept constantly filled with a, throng of "stampcollectors*"
