The position is this with vs :— As yet we have no lights, and what is worse, the lights proposed by the Council— namely, three —will be quite useless to the residents, hence the deputation, that waited on the Melrose Borough Council last Tuesday evening to protest against the action of the Council in its distribution of the lamps in Ohiro Ward, and its want of attention to this parti of the borough in particular. — I am, etc., GEORGE LINDSAY, Secretary Mitchelltown Committee.
