THE WESTRALIAN MURDER. ARREST OF THE VICTIM'S HUSBAND.

The sensation arising from the murder of Mrs. Fox, wife of a gardener at Clareraont, six miles from Perth, has taken a remarkable turn throujgh the arrest of the husband himself. The story first given out was that Pox had been to town with his family, leaving his wife at home, and that on their return Mrs. Fox was missed. On search being made she was found dead within a short distance of the house, her head having been split open with an axe and wounds appearing on the upper part of her legs. Since then the axe has been found in Fox's house, together with certain incriminating clothing, and upon this evidence the police have taken him iuto custody.
