ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
♦ [by telegraph — rress association.] Christchurch, This Day. Ethel Bride, employed as a servant at Mr. Skog's. Danish Consul, attempted suicide this morning by taking some irritant poison. She is believed to be out of danger. It iR stated that the reason for the act; was tli at she was to be arrctpd to-day on a charge of obtaining goods by false pretences.
