SUICIDES. [BY TELEGRAPH — PKESS ASSOCIATION.]
Auckland, 30th January. At the inquest on the body of Joseph Khlebe, veterinary surgeon and blacksmith, who was found in a dying condition in the tide near Kohukohu, a verdict was returned that deceased committed suicide by taking poison, the nature of which was unknown. Chbistchukch, 30th January. "William Scoon, a well-known resident of Rangiora, committed suicide by cutting his throat with a pocket-knife yesterday morning. At the inquest held this morning a verdict was returned of j suicide whilst of unsound mind. Invercargill, 30th January. Information reached town to-night that a young man named Constable, staying as a friend at Helder and Awdry's Redcliff station, 64 miles from Otautau, had committed suicide. He was well connected at Home.
