DREADFUL BOILER EXPLOSION.
« ONE LIFE LOST AND SEVEN PERSONS INJURED. [press association.J Sydney, 30 Hi January. The boiler of Hayes's flourmill, in the centre of the town of Albury, exploded. The bulk of the boiler was thrown 50 yards away. A piece weighing a ton was lifted 100 feet high and thrown 200 yards away. A boardiughouse in the vicinity wa3 wrecked. A boy named Reid was killed instantly. Three women and three children and a man were badly hurt. A number of premises in the vicinity were damaged. The loss is estimated at £3000.
