NEW SOUTH WALES v. VICTORIA.
Sydney, 28th January. The intercolonial cricket match was continued to-day, the home team having compiled 442 in the first innings, the visitors' score standing at 154 for the loss of seven wickets. This total was increased by 61 by the time the last wicket had fallen. The scores made were as follows : — Laver, 16 ; M'Leod, 1 ; Worrall, 9 ; Giller, 87 ; Graham, 11; Stwckey, 28; Warne, 9; Bruce, 5 ; Trumble, 24 ; M'Miuhnel, 19 ; Johns, 4, not out) ; extras, 2; total, 215. Bowling analysis — Howell, three wickets for 23 runs ; Noble, three for 77 j Pye, two for 48 ; M'Kibbin, two for 65. The Victorians, being in a minority of »227, had to follow on, and at the call of time had lost five wickets for 271. M'Michael made 11, Graham 124, Worrall 68, Stuckey 5, Layer 55, Giller 0, not out, extras 8.
