WELLINGTON WEDDINGS IN THE SOUTH.

Williams, of Wellington, a well known member of the Masonic fraternity, was married yesterday afternoon to Miss Emily Florence Gertrude Hamilton, daughter of Mr. J. J. M. Hamilton, Deputy .Public Trustee in Christchurch. The wedding ceremony, which took place at the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, was conducted by the Vicar (Rev. A. W. Averill), assisted by the Rev. E. E. Chambers and the Rev. W. Ronaldson. Among those present were several Freemasons, ithe bridegroom being Grand Superintendent of the Wellington district, and the bride's father Grand Superintendent of Canterbury under the Grand Lodge of New Zealand. The Rev. W. Ronaldson, who is Grand Secretary of New Zealand, delivered an address congratulating the bride and bridegroom, and welcoming the bride to Freemaspnry as far as it was possible to do so. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at Mr. Hamilton's residence, where the health of the bride and bridegroom was cordially honoured. Among the wedding presents is a valuable gift of plate from the members of the New Zealand Pacific Lodge.. Mr. and Mrs. Williams will spend the honeymoon at the southern lakes. Mr John Duthie, second son of Mr. Jno. Duthie, M H.R. for Wellington, was married to Miss Daisy Rogers, second daughter of Mr. Jno. Rogers, of Opawa, at St. Mary's Church, Opawa, this morning. Archdeacon Cholmondeley conducted the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. Canon Knowles. The bride was attended by Miss Maude Rogers, and ..Mr. William Duthie was best man. The wedding presents included a beautiful silver afternoon lea service from the Wellington Guards, and a pretty Set of table cutlery from the firm of John Duthie and Sons. Mr. and Mrs. Duthie left for Dunedin by the express train for their honeymoon.
