Among the interesting relics recovered from the battleship Maine as she lay submerged m Havana Harbour was the captain's bicycle which ho had on board at the time of the explosion. It was quite undamagod except foi* a little rust, and Captain Sigabeo has sent it as a present to the manufacturers, who are of course very proud of so interesting a memento. Needles to say, it was a Columbia bicycle, which is now in universal favour in the States and Kngland. The Yerex & Jones Company, Victoria-street, are solo New Zealand agents. — Advt.
