En Avant, Medal, Lyddite, and Llangollan also ran. Won comfortably. Time, lmin 19sec. Dividend, £4 le. Hunters' Steeplechase, two miles. — Jim, 1 ; Macaroni, 2 ; The Bishop, 3. Won by a bare length. Time, 4min 30 2-ssec. Dividend, £1 18s. Winter Oats Handicap, one mile. — Pinepinetekura, lOst slb, lj Three Star, lOst 121b, 2; Ngariki, 9st, 3. Brigand, Popgun, Markinch, Moetahi, and En Avant also ran. Won easily. Time, lmin 48 l-ssec. Dividend, £5 6s. The total amount on the machine for the day was £1232, >as against £1647 last year. Sylvia Park and The Major have been scratched for all engagements nt the Wellington Racing' Club's Winter Meeting. Mr. J.
