Messrs. Murray, Roberts & Co. have received the following wool market cablegram from their London houso, Messrs. Sandorsou, Murray & Co., dated 4th July :—": — " Compared with tho closing rates of last London sales, low to medium orossbrods havo declined 5 per cent. Extra good greasy and scourod merino shows no change. Other descriptions greasy and scoured merino advanced 5 to 7^ per cent., scoured showing tho greatest advance. Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson" & Co.'fl report on their sale at Johnsonville yosl orday is as follows : — Fat cattle were in average numbers. From good to prime quality sold at much about last week's prices. Ox beef made 15s to 16s tho 1001b. Sheep in full numbers sold briskly throughout. The quality was better than usual. Only a few pigs wore yarded, and thoy made their value. We quote : — Fat bullocks, JIG 7s (Jd to .£8 ; prime ewes, 12s 8d to 12s lid; others 10s to 11s ; lighter, 8s to 9a (5d ; fat wethers, 12s 2d to 12s 8d ; lambs, 7s lOd to 8s 7d.
