[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, 29th April. The Council of the Chamber of Mines has forwarded the folloAving resolution to the Premier :—" That this Chamber re-affirms its former representations to the Government respecting the imposts levied upon mining companies in New Zealand, and strongly endorses tho arguments used by the London capitalists in a letter to this Chamber." Dunedin, 29th April. At a meeting this evening it was decided to form a branoh of the New Zealand Natives' Association. [our own correspondent.] Mastebton, This Day. One bankruptcy has occurred here during April, making seven this year. The Masterton ToAvn Lands Trust has given a site for a Technical School Building.
