GERMANY PROPOSES A STEP BACKWARD.
LIMITING THE RIGHT OF PUBLIC MEETINGS.
[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Berlin, 15th May. Prince Hohenlohe, President of the Ministry aud Minister of Foreign Affairs, has introduced a law iv the Prussian Diet limiting the right of public meetings. The German press indignantly declares that the proposed new legislation imperils all free political movement.
