CABLE NEWS. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. — COPYRIGHT.] THE GLENBROQK MURDERS.
RESULT OF THE CORONER'S ENQUIRY. [BY TELEGRAPH — PPESS ASSOCIATION.] Sydney, Bth December. The inquests on the Glenbrook victims are concluded. A verdict of Wilful Murder against Butler was returned in both cases. Evidence was given that Butler told Weller, one of the victims, not to let any of his friends see him, as he was well known to the miners, and had the reputation of being especially clever, and they would think he was on something good and would probably follow them. It was also stated that, before coming to Australia, Weller was mining in the Transvaalf and was among the Johannesburgers who armed to assist the Jameson raid.
