* [press association.] London, 7th December. The hearing of the charge of criminal libel against Lady Scott and two men named Cockerton and Kast has been adjourned for four weeks. J Berlin, 7th December. Herr Tausch, chief of the German police, who was suspended from duly in consequence of the allegations made against him in connection with the prosecution of journalists, has been arrested on a charge of perjury.
