(Our Own Corrttpon&mt.j Gbkytown North, This Dat. A. L. Webster, Town Clerk of Geytown, was yesterday oommitted for trial by Mr. Hutohison, S M., on three charges, ris.—(l) of having stolen a cheque for £12 Is 7d in favour o? the United Diatriot Charitable Aid Board; (21 of having stolen a oheque for £U 17s 6d drawn to pay Wfaitoombe A Tombs on library aooount ; and (3) of having appropriated a oheque for £3 6s in favour, of Stuart ft Co. Bail was allowed as before — two sureties of £50 eaoh and aooused in £100, the S.M. remarking that it was not necessary to inorease the amount.
