THE COLLEGE TOURNAMENT. The Nelson and Wellington College match of the College Tournament is being played at Newtown Park this afternoon. About 600 spectators are present. Neither side scored in the firaf spell, but Nelson was 1 foroed down twice. Ultimately, Wellington won by 20 points to love. On Saturday the dairymen played a 15 from the Petom Woollen Factory, and de- . lea ted it by 5 points to nil. Sharp scored a try and Pointing converted. Sharp (2), Pointing, and J. August were best for the rioters, and Roid, Adams, Fleet, and Walker for the losers. As the Junior representative team is unable to fulfil its engagement with the oombiued Wednesday olnbs, an effort ia . being made to arrange a match for the latter with the renowned N'tu Ahnriri team, whioh has just oonolndod a successful tour in the Wairarapa. If the Takapuna, whioh is advertised to leave for Lytteltenat3 o'olock on Wednesday, can he delayed until 5, the match will be played. The team selected to represent tho Wednesday olubs against the Juniors will not be altered, and every player is particularly requested to attend at the Athletio gymnasium to-night for practice. 1 he following are the rest of the fixtures for the Third-class Football Association i— August 31st— Bed Cross v.
