A London cablegram has been received oonfirming the sale in London of the Favona and Brilliant properties at Waihi. The properties were sold on behalf of an Auokland syndicate. With referenoe to Waihi South, the following notioe was posted to-day at the Exchange : — " A distinot proposal for floating the Waihi South mine has been received, but the proposal has not ret been considered by the directors."
