♦ The members of the Hutt Ladies' Golf Clnb oompeted for prizes of golf material on Saturday. There was a goodly field of about 20 competitors, and the following ore some of the better scores :—: —
A matoh whioh caused some interest was also played between' Mr. D. B. Howden and Mr. Hugh MaoNeil, who at present holdstha ohampionsbip of New Zealand, when Mr. Howden won by 3 holes np and 2 to play.
