FIRE AT PALMERSTON NORTH.
[bt txlxouaph. — pblsß association.] Paiucbston North, This Dat. At 3 20 this morning Mr. W. Pegden'a sash, door, and furniture factory was burned to tbe ground. The origin of the fire is unknown, tt was confined to tbe faotory, tbe sheds and timber ad joining being saved. Ths buildintr, Btock, and machinery were inauf ed in the New Zealand Office for £1000. Nothing was saved. The New Zealand Office had reinsured its .risk >b follows .— Allianco,£200; National, £200 ; Phoenix, £150.
