THE SEAFORD-LYON COLLISION.
♦ [SPECIAL.] London, 21st August. In the oolliaion between the steamers Seaford and Lyon in tho English Chapnel (remarkable for tbe rescue of all on board the Seaford, 297 in number, before Bhe sank), the bow of the Lyon made a huge rent in the other vessel's Bide, and tore its way into the saloon. The Soaford's passengers were at first panio-striken. Tbe captain's coolness allayed a panic.
