TO-MOBBOW'S CONGEST. The full programme in oonneotion with the Belief Fund oonoert whioh takes place, at the Opera House to-morrow night, appears in another column. Messrs. T. Tallis Trim' nell and Bobert Parker eta the muejoaj directors. The programme is a most attractive one. The soloists will be Madame. Eveleen L'»rlton, Miss G wen Davias, Messrs B. B. Williams, J. Prouse, B. J. Hill, Maoduff Boyd, and C. D. Maokinto»b. A speoial feature will be the production (by desire) of the Handel" Largo," for piano, organ, and violin, undertaken by Messrs. Parker, Trimnell, and Maodnff Boyd. The Traffic Manager of the Government Bailways" has notified the Seoretary that trains wiU leave the Lower Hutt at 7 o'olook, and return from Te *ro Station at 11.5 p.m. We are. requested by the Committee to tender its thanks to those ladies and gentlemen whq have expressed a wish to take part in the oonosrt, but owing to the length of the prqgramme and its early compilation, their generous offers to assist oould not be taken advantage of. The Committee has left nq stone unturned to provide a popular entertainment, and we hope that the,publio will reoognise its labour, by'making, a "point of attending, thug ensuring a crowded house and a brilliant finanoial result. There are now 167 men on the works.
