HIS SELF- ACCUSATION OF MURDER DISBELIEVED. [BT TBOBORAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, 15th Angust. The charge of murder against bamuol Evison (who was arrested in the Waikato eomo months back on his own confession of having pushed a young woman into tbo Uivor I'rent at Nottingham many years ago) has beeu withdrawn, and Evison has beon discharged from custody. The investigation in Nottingham has in no way substantiated the man's confession, and the Chief Constable there bolieved it untrue
