FATAL ACCIDENT NEAR SHANNON.
• (Our Own Correspondent. J Shannon, This Dat About 12.30 o'olock to-day, near Shannon, three youths named Cottii, West, and Felix M'Cartby were driving a dray containing a couple of heavy strainers. Owing to the wheel going over a root, the vehicle upset, throwing ont tbe occupants. M'Catthy's head oame down on a rata stump, and the strainers coming on him at the same time, broke his neck. He died instantly.
