Sib — Those who recommend the site at Mount Cook, Wellington, for a site for a University or a lung resort for the city have never had to spend hours upon it, when the very words were either blown down the throat or carried over the oity or Newtown as the wind listed. Many will remember hearing a well-known voice in the seventies proceeding from that pitileßS site Bix mornings in the week, and can judge of its exposure. As you point out, the Terrace Gaol is eminently snitable, having a big beak run on to the Town Belt. Let the nnfortnnate prisoners have Mount Cook, bnt I pity the prisoners.
