FOOTBALL.
The Third - Class Championship match between tho Poneke and Welliagton thirds Tro.s won by tho Ponokes by 12 points to nil. The Junior Cup match, Junior Bugby Union, resulted in the Addington 2nd beating the Korokoro 2ad by five points to love. Palmar touohed down and Mahoney oonverted. In the final matoh of the School Championship, Hamilton and Campbell scored a try eaoh for To Aro, and Carey touohod down once for Petone. Tho following teams have been ohoseu to practice next Saturday iv view of the junior representative matches :— A Tjsam —Full-back, Jackson (Petono) ; three-quarters, Dansey (Athletic), Carswoll (Alolroac), aud Caff (Wellington) j fiveeighths, Sweeney (Ponelce); half, M'Konna (Melroso); forwards, M'Kay, Heighton, AVhitehouae (Selwyn), Look, Sievers (MclBe 8 r e ntsen°(p reloner ri Sh<SPherd (AtMßtio)> B T«am —Full-back, Harris (Poneke); three-quarterß, Madden (Solwyn), Morton (Poneke), and Barber (Petone); five-eighths, M'Carthy (Melrose); half, Pago (Oriental); forwards, Hart and Avnott (Athletic), Bush (Oriental), M'Laren, Lovo, and Laughton (Melroso), Barlow and O'Connell (Petone) Wid'op (Wellington). Emergencies — Meredith and Tuokor (baoks); M'Whirter and Clarke (forwards). Carswoll will captain the A team, which will play in oolonr«,and Morton the B team, in black.
