fBl TxLEGBXPH.— P«EBB ASSOCIATION.! Rotorua, This Dat. Mr. A.-H. Waddell, who has discovered a quartz reef in the TJriwera Country between Waihou and Ruatoki, has written to the Minister of Mines for protection. He refuses to disclose the position nntil after protection has been granted. Waddell, who was lately diamond drill expert at the Grand Junction mine, Waihi, ia an experienced man from the other colonies, and has formed a prospeoting party at bis own expense.
