At the Police Court to-day, Mr. Northoroft, S.M., fined the master of the steamer Ngunguru 30a, and 5b per head, for carrying four passengers over the number allowed by bis certificate. George Ellis, a young man, was committed for trial on several ohargea of forgery. Accused was arrested at Taupo.
