The oourt-mactial enquiring into the oase : of Coulton found him guilty oE the charge of negligence in performing his duties and de- ' sorting from H.M.S. Mildura, but considered : the oharge of embezzlement not proven. He has been dismissed the Service. The medioal eyidenoe showed that Coulton has been suffering from brain trouble, and aooused oftan stated that he had severe J pains in the head for a long time, and was unable to perform his duties properly. This, j he said, led to the present trouble, and it was ' his desire to make good any deficiency that might be found in his accounts. • ' i < ; i > 1
