Christchurch, 27ih April. A yonng man named Peter Augustus Hamilton, tinsmith, died suddenly yesterday. He had been suffering from consumption, and the causa of death was rupture of a blood vessel. Auckland, 27th April. Miss Mills, musio teacher, aged 40, was found dead on the floor in her room to-dny. She lived alone, and when found had been dead apparently a week. Her neigbonrs thought she had left on a visit. ThisDa-j. Mr. Edward Mahoney, the well-known architect, is dead. His age was 70. Leonard Leo, aged 38, a boatbuilder at Whitianga, took a fit while spearing flat fish, and was drowned. GIBBORNE, This Dat. A man named Alfred Walker was drowned whilst attempting to cross a flooded creek near Ormond.
