London, 2uth April. Mr. O'Kclly, who is a supnorter of Mr. Justin M'Oarthy, has been returnod for the vacant seat of Wicklow East in tho House of Commons, defeating Mr. Sweotman by 62 votes. The vacancy was caused by the resignation of Mr. Sweotman after bis secession from the Redmond Party. 27th April. Mr. Balfour, in addressing the members of the Frimroso League, declared that tLo Old Radicalism was played oat, and that the Liberal Party was impotent while it was linked with the Irish Party. (Received April 20, 10.30 a.m.) London, 28th April. Tho Hon. A. Lyttelton, Recorder of Oxford City, is a candidate for tho Warwick and Leamington seat in the Liberal-Unionist intorest.
