Water Rate, as under :— On all lands and buildings within the Boroueh used as dwellinehouses to which water is supplied : (a) Whore the annual ratable value on the Valuation h'oll does not exceed -El 2 10s, a rate of ten shillings. (b) Where Bnch ratable value exceeds £12 10s, bnt does not exceed .£SOO, a rate of 4} per cent, on such value. (c) Where suoh ratable value exceeds £300, a rate of 4 per cent, on such value. One-half of the respective Water Rates mentioned above on all lands and buildings within the Boron gh to which water con be, but is not, supplied, situato within 100 yards from any part of tho Corporation's Waterworks. A Water Rate of 2J per cent, on the ratable value of all buildings within the Borough used as stores or warehouses or for any purposes other than dwelliazboiiFes. 3. A rate under the provisions of " The Hoepital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885," of threepence-halfpenny in the pound on the annual ratable value on the Valuation Roll of all rat-ble property within the Borough, such rato being required to meet the contributions piyable by the Council to the Wellington Hospitil Board and the Wellington and Wairarapa Chiritable Aid Board. 4. A rate under the provisions of •• The Public Libraries Act, 1869," of one penny in the pound on the annual ratable value on the Valuation Roll of all ratable property within the Borough, which rate shall be called "The Library U ate . " Also, that all the above rales will bs payable in two eqnal instilments, on the 15th day of May, 1895, and on the 15th day of November. 1895.
