T. Kennedy M acdonald & Co.'s Land Sale.

♦ The new premises on Lambton-quay which have jnst been converted into epaciona auction rooms by T. Kennedy Macdonald and Co. (Ltd.) were opened last evening for the land sale, which has been extensively advertised for the last fortnight. Tho saleroom was crowded to the doors. Mr. J. G. Chapman made his first appearance in the oity as auctioneer, and ably wielded the hammer. The following is a summary of the lots sold :—: — OHOFTON. Family residence and section 17, J. We are informed this morning that sections 6, 7, and 8, Crofton, have been sold privately for £270, making a grand total of .£2414 5s Gd. We also understand that there are only seven sections left unsold in Lrofton, and that three of them are under offer! The unsold seotions in Rangiurn-by-the-t ea are also open for private sale.
