Embezzlement by a Naval. Officer.
lOHITED PBISS ASSOCIATION.! SIDNIT, 25th April. Ernest Henry Llewellyn, paymaster of the Naval forces and accountant to the Marine Board, has been committed for trial on a charge of embezzling 4361, Government money. Accused confensed his guilt. It has since been found that the accounts are short by .£2250. He says the money vms lost in unsuccessful speculations.
