The Vacant Governorship,
LSPICIAL.] 4 (Reoeived April 25,11 a.m.) London, 24th April Sir Henry Looh stated, in connection with, tho Governorship of New South Wales, that he did not approve of the reduction of salary. He was reminded that the amount hod been fixed at .£7OOO, but he replied that the al'owances, representing ft sum of J22000, had been deduoted, and obierrod that it would be difficult to get a Governor for the' colony other than a wealthy man.
